WhiteHouse -
Bluegrass's Supergroup Their first scheduled show was the 25th Anniversary of Tripple Creek Music Campground's festival on May 13, 2005 at Festival in the Pines.
L to R: Jason Carter, Charlie Cushman, Larry Stephenson, Missy Raines and David Parmley. This new SUPERGROUP features 5 Masters in the Bluegrass Industry. Their names alone speak for themselves, but if you're still not quite sure where you've heard their names or seen their faces, then please read on. Jason Carter
on Fiddle is a current member of the popular Del McCoury Band
and has been for over 11 years. He's won many awards for his
accomplishments as he is a master of the difficult double-stops.
It features 12 wonderful songs: including older hits written by Bobby Osborne, Jimmy Martin, Carter Stanley, Bill Brock, Jim McReynolds and more. It also features 2 new songs from the late Randall Hylton and 1 new song by Robert Gately. The name for the band seemed fitting when the 5 artist realized they All lived in the same small town just a little north of Nashville called White House, TN. Not only are just the musicians from the same town, but also Robert Gately who wrote track # 7 "Don't Hold Your Breath", the studio was located their as well with David Parmley at the helm, the engineer on the project "Ben Surratt" which is Missy Raines' husband, as well as the photographer and graphic designer on the project "Dreama Stephenson" which is Larry's wife. So I'm sure you'll agree, the name WhiteHouse made perfect sense. |
